Final Evaluation and Conclusions
This report stands for being the last deliverable for trend screening as one of the main tasks of WP1. Therefore not only an assessment of VAN and VAN-related technologies current markets positioning is to be shown, but most important, a summary of the project, its achieved goals and objectives (technical and non-technical) as well as its success status against other related EC founded projects and potential and actual synergies among these ones, both at technical and market-tendencies levels.

Ex-post Social Impact Assessment
This deliverable constitutes the third output of T1.3 Socio-economic impact activity,a study that was carried out during the project as a complement to RTD activities.
The scope of the social impact assessment includes all the potential impacts that the new product/process generated by the VAN project could have in both its manufacturing, in the case of devices, and in its use, in the case of new devices, services or processes. The purpose is not to analyse the social impact of the project itself, but its outcomes.

Report on analysed public network technologies
Report on analysed public network technologies. The basis of the analysis is the description of requirements of wide distributed automation applications in chapter 1. This chapter starts with short descriptions of three characteristic use cases which require data communication via public networks. The systematic analysis of these use cases resulted in a number of attributes which characterise wide distributed automation applications. These attributes are used to assess the different technologies which are described in chapters 3 - 5.
